Sauteed Green Beans

1 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp unsalted butter
1 Tbsp garlic paste
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 yellow onion, minced
2 cups shiitake mushrooms
1 pound fresh string green beans, blanched


Heat olive oil and butter in a large pan at medium heat. Add garlic paste, garlic cloves, and onions to the pan. Cook until the onions start to sweat, then add the mushrooms and green beans. Saute the green beans for about 15-20 minutes. Pairs well with marinated grilled chicken.
