Rainbow Swiss Chard is a beautiful leafy green who’s stems come in a variety of colors ranging from red, pink, orange, and yellow. This green is fun and vibrant, but also full of vitamins like vitamin K, A and C. If you’re not ready to take it on raw or are tired of sauteing another green, try this smoothie as a quick power kick in the morning.

Rainbow Swiss Chard

Berry Good Green Smoothie

Ingredients:
5 swiss chard leaves, cut leaves away from stalk (add more if you’re feeling really green today!)
1 handful of spinach
5 strawberries
1/2 cup blueberries
1 banana, peeled and cut
1 Tbsp honey Greek yogurt
3 Tbsp lime juice or juice of 1 lime
1/4 cup almond milk
12 icecubes

Smoothie Blend

Instructions:
Place all the items in a blender except for the ice cubes. Blend until everything becomes liquefied. If you have problems blending, add a little more almond milk until things start to blend. Throw in 6 ice cubes and crush. Then throw in 6 more and crush. Blend everything together until it becomes smooth. Pour and enjoy!
