Soft Apple Chews

Ingredients:
3 apples, peeled and cored
1/4 lemon juiced
3 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg

Instructions: 

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Peel, core, and cut apples into thin rings using either a mandolin or a knife. A knife works just fine. No need to worry about perfect cut sizes for this snack. In a prep bowl, squeeze the lemon juice over the apples and toss. Combine the dry ingredients in a small mixing bowl and set aside to use in a couple minutes. Line a baking sheet with the apple slices and sprinkle the brown sugar mixture on top of the apples. Make sure to flip the apple slices so that you get both sides. Bake for 35 minutes. Flip sides and bake for 35 more minutes. Serve as an ice cream topping, a fun desert after dinner, or take them with you for a snack on the go.
