Fall Cabbage and Apple Saute

Makes 3- 4 servings
Ingredients:
1 apple roughly peeled, cored and cut into chunk (little bits of red peel add a nice bit of color)
1 1/4 head of cabbage, cored and cut into 1/4 inch slices
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic minced
1/4 cup shandy or white wine or hard cider
salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:
Melt butter in saute pan. Add apples and garlic. Saute for 2 minutes or until the garlic is fragrant and soft. Add the cabbage and saute for 2 minutes. Add shandy, wine or cider. Cover and let steam for 5 minutes. Taste for seasoning. Add salt and pepper to taste.
