Cheez Fries.
Yep… I said that.
Straight from the farm and gluten and dairy free y’all.
The ingredients:
1 TBS ghee
4 potatoes
6 TBS nutritional yeast
1 TBS coconut (or other gluten-free) flour
3/4 cup unsweetened almond (or other non-dairy) milk
1 tsp garlic powder
1 TBS dry mustard seed
salt/pepper to taste
Step One: Preheat oven to 415F. Wash and slice potatoes into “fries.” Coat them with oil and place on a baking sheet in a single layer. Cook for 15 minutes before flipping and cooking another 15.
Step Two: Melt 1 TBS of grass-fed ghee in a small pan.
Step Three: Mix the milk, flour, spices and nutritional yeast in a small bowl until all clumps are out. Then pour in with ghee and mix well.
Step Four: Allow the cheez mixture to simmer at low heat for 5-8 more, stirring occasionally.
Step Five: Once fries have cooked, pour cheez sauce over them, allow to cool and serve!
